{{Student}} Teacher Appreciation Freebie

Thanks to those of you who have started following and left me some love on my first post 🙂

Speaking of showing love, Teacher Appreciation week begins this Monday and I want to share that I have been super appreciate of the student teacher I have been working with for the last 8 weeks! She was wonderful!! My firsties and I really loved having her and we were sad to say goodbye to her on Friday. To say THANK YOU for all of her hard work we put together a little gift for her.

This first one was a Pinterest inspired masterpiece that I put together with A LOT of help from one of my crafty besties. (And by a lot of help I mean, all I really did was cut the crayons) All the kids and I signed the back of it with a silver sharpie. One of the teachers at my school saw it and commented how it would be super cute to hang it up in the classroom and then post class pictures underneath each year. I’ve decided to create my own and do just that this summer!

This next part was a book of letters written by the kids telling Ms. Kremer why we felt she was a great teacher. I created a letter template and sent it home with all the kids in a manila folder under TOP SECRET directions to return their finished letter inside of the same folder so that Ms. Kremer wouldn’t see them and we could make it a surprise. I really *wish* I had taken a photograph of the darling letters they wrote! I was so impressed with the effort they put in as they were truly little love notes from their hearts!!

((Please excuse the quality of this image, I had to take a photo of the doc on my computer until I can replace with a hard copy photo on Monday but I wanted you to be able to see what the letter template looked like))

If you’d like to snag a copy of this cover –which has been edited to read “Our Class Hearts You” — and the friendly letter template I created, click {{HERE}}  or click the images above.  Would love to hear feedback from those of you who download it 🙂

Ok friends, I’m off for a little Cinco de Mayo BBQ action! Happy Weekend!!
