Stuffed With Thankful Thoughts

Share This:

 It’s that time of year again where we take a moment to reflect a little harder than usual on the things we are *thankful* for!! I’m happy to say my little cup of thanks is bubbling over as it often is. I’m a likes to see the cup half full kind of a gal 😉

1. This guy. My husband.
What can I say?  He’s my best friend, he’s incredibly supportive, and he’s hot!! hehe.But seriously, this man has cooked me more meals this school year than ever before to try and combat the stressors that came with switching schools and grades. And he learned long ago that food is the key to my heart!
2. My Friends & Family
They help me get through all the ups and downs life likes to throw my way. I love them for it!
 3. Oh They Places I’ve been!
 I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to travel to many amazing places in my 26 years of life. Australia, Argentina, Chile, Greece, Costa Rica. I’m a total travel bug. Lucky for me, my husband is too. I am so thankful for all the trips I’ve been able to take and knowing that there are still many more to come 🙂
4. Blogging & TPT
I am thankful for the new ideas, the collaboration, the resources that I have found that enrich my classroom, the knowledge that resources I have created are being used by others and affecting kids all across the country, and above all else the friendships I have made through this amazing community!!
5. My Job.
This one in more ways than one this year. I’m thankful for the opportunity do work that allows me to work with children and help leave a small footprint on the course of their life. I’m thankful for employment period. I’m thankful that I was able to switch schools this year when my old school no longer felt like the right place for me.
Piggy backing on this one a little, I’m thankful my school has not been affected by any natural disasters. Other teachers and schools have not been so lucky lately.

{Devastation in the DR}
My friend Kristen from A Day In First Grade recently shared with me that the school she worked for in the Dominican Republic was devastated by a recent flood. So I want to help her in spreading the word sharing a link with details of their situation and how you can help. Click HERE for more info.
Ok my bloggy friends, I know we all have lots to be thankful for! Head on over to A Year of Many Firsts to link up with your list of things you’re giving Thanks for this Holiday Season!!
