Spring Fling Invite

Share This:

So I posted this picture on my Facebook page early this week, mostly as a joke. Ya know, giggle giggle, funny ha ha. Except, it turned out to be more true that I had “planned” on. I also thought I was going to have lots of blog posts up. But my lack of teacherly activities made that one kind of tricky.

But you’ll forgive me right, being Spring Break and all? What if I invited you to a Spring Fling over on my blog and Facebook tomorrow?? I feel like celebrating Spring with a little something special for my followers. So if you don’t already, this is a really great time to make sure you’re following the blog and  Falling Into First on Facebook.

And without further ado my Spring Break Week Five For Friday…

fiveforfriday

1. On Monday one of my best friend’s and I went to a Meet The Broncos event in town. We met two players from The Denver Broncos, Kevin Vickerson and Mitch Unrein. That is my friend’s little guy being held between them. These men are HUGE!

2. My Mom and I went fantasy house shopping. Fantasy house shopping is when you tour the new rediculously beautiful model homes in your neighborhood and fantasize about buying them.

3. I did get lots of work done on my next two units! AKA, the last two Science units I will teach this year, because there is only 8 WEEKS left in the year. Crazy!! I’ll be posting these this weekend!

4.  I DID get the closet cleaned!!! Don’t blink, you might miss it 😉

5. Last night my previously mentioned bestie and I went to a Denver Nuggets game with our husbands to celebrate her birthday. And who needs birthday cake when you can buy FROZEN CHEESECAKE ON A STICK!!! Oh my word, whoever made this one up is pure genius I tell you!!! The Nuggets won the game too right in the final 5 seconds of the game. Fabulous night all around!

Ok friends, catch ya tomorrow for the Spring Fling Event!!! 🙂

  2. I laughed out loud seeing that Ecard…the idea of doing nothing over spring break is fabulous! 🙂 I am such a big sweets eater but hadn't ever heard of "cheesecake on a stick.." will definitely have to be looking into that treat!

Glad your spring break was peaceful and we too only have 8 weeks left-SO exciting!

  3. So bummed, I just finished my unit on solids and liquids from my beat up, 1970s science manual – would MUCH rather teach with that cute new unit you have! Next year 🙂

  4. Hi! Just stumbled upon your blog and have become a follower! I have enjoyed my look around and will stop back often. Enjoy what is left of your break… :0)

  5. I grew up watching the Broncos! They are actually the only football team I ever followed. I went to UNC in Greeley and worked for them in the summers. We always got free tickets to the games. Ahh, the good 'ole days;) Now I'm hungry for cheesecake! Enjoy the rest of your time off:)

  6. Go Fantasy House Hunting!!! I love it. I go on Sibcy Cline and do the same. Maybe if I actually took time making units, I could afford a fantasy house. Your friend's little guy is ADORABLE!!
